Grab the kids and the pack the cushions! It’s time for the Strathfield Symphony Orchestra’s Family Concert! Conducted by Bernard Walz, the concert features the music of two Australian composers – Peter Winkler’s “The Kookaburra Who Stole The Moon” (narrated by Brian Bell) and Sean O’Boyle’s delightfully whacky “Country Kazoo Overture” – as well as the “Toy” Symphony by Leopold Mozart (yes…he’s THAT guy’s clever Dad!) and Rossini’s brilliant “William Tell Overture”. A concert of musical treats for all ages! (Regular unreserved seating available for the not-so-cushion-inclined!).
