“Thanks again to maestro Sadaharu Murumatsu for a magical evening with the Strathfield Symphony Orchestra performing Mendelssohns’ Midsummer Nights Dream. The orchestra played brilliantly, with the basses pitch perfect and sounding great. The wedding march was as good as any recording! Two lovely sopranos Bridget Patterson and Sylvie Humphreys provided the narration and sang divinely. The Wesley Institute choir provided a perfect accompaniment, memorised and without the score. Great concert tonight ! Congratulations to Maestro Sada, another terrific performance. Loved the tempo in the first movement of the Beethoven 7. Very German ! Very fine performances all round – timpani was outstanding ! Thank you all, and looking forward to the next performance – Bruno DC
