A free concert for Seniors and their Carers during the NSW Seniors Festival.

Strathfield Symphony has been putting on a free concert for Seniors for over 40 years, we are nearly seniors ourselves! It is a great way that we can thank our local community for the generous support they have shown the orchestra.

Concert program:

5play Wind Quintet performing Holst’s Wind Quintet, Sea Shanty by Arnold, La Fille aux cheveux de lin by Debussy and Cavalleria Rusticana Intermezz by Mascagni.

Flute and Piano duet performing Kuhlau’s Variations Sur l’Air Irlandais

String Chamber orchestra performing Jenkin’s Palladio, Holberg suite by Greig and Concerto Grosso No 7 by Correlli.

Concert running time is approximately 1 hour followed by afternoon tea.

Bookings are not required, register at the door. To attend, you must be a senior (over 65). Carers and grandchildren in the company of a Senior also welcome.
